Question by : If I keep the kitchen light on will it stop mold?
My bagels always go moldy in like a week. If I leave the light on will it stop? i heard that mold grows best in the dark.

Keep them in the fridge or frozen works best

Put your bagels in the freezer and when you want one just take it out to defrost. The light will not stop the molding process.
It is the heat and moisture in the ambient air rather than light that causes breads to mold.
Keep your bagels and other breads in the fridge for longer shelf life.
Freeze them and defrost when you need them.
